Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before registering your product warranty. By submitting a warranty registration, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- “Company” refers to KMTS Engineering Pvt Ltd, its subsidiaries, authorised service centres, and distributors.
- “Customer” or “You” refers to the original end-user purchaser of the product.
- “Product” refers to any electronic/digital device sold under the brands SOLID, DILOS, or DUROSTAR Communication, manufactured or distributed by the Company.
- “Warranty Period” refers to the duration during which the Company provides free repair/replacement services as described herein.
- “Date of Purchase” refers to the date shown on the original purchase invoice.
- “Warranty Claim” refers to a formal request submitted by the Customer for repair or replacement of a defective product under this warranty.
- “Authorised Service Centre” refers to any service centre officially designated by the Company to perform warranty repairs.
2. Warranty Coverage & Duration
2.1 Standard Warranty — New Products
All products sold under the brands SOLID, DILOS, and DUROSTAR Communication are covered by a free warranty for a period of twelve (12) months from the Date of Purchase, subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
- The warranty period commences from the Date of Purchase as evidenced by the original purchase invoice.
- The product must be registered on our official warranty portal at www.kmtse.com within the warranty period to be eligible for warranty service.
- Warranty registration does not extend the warranty period — it is required to activate your warranty benefits.
2.2 Extended Warranty — Existing Customers
Customers whose original twelve (12) month warranty period has already expired may register a warranty claim on our portal and avail an Extended Warranty of six (6) months from the date of claim registration, subject to the following conditions:
- The Extended Warranty claim must be submitted through the official warranty portal at www.kmtse.com.
- The product must not have been previously repaired by any unauthorised third-party service centre.
- The product must be in a condition that allows assessment by the Company or its Authorised Service Centre.
- Extended Warranty approval is subject to inspection and is at the sole discretion of the Company.
- Extended Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or misuse.
Important: The Extended Warranty is a goodwill gesture by KMTS Engineering. Approval is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
3. What Is Covered Under Warranty
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions, including:
- Manufacturing defects that arise during normal use.
- Component failures caused by internal faults not attributed to external damage or misuse.
- Firmware/software issues originating from factory settings.
- Display defects, connectivity failures, or power issues caused by internal component failure.
4. What Is NOT Covered Under Warranty
The following conditions, damages, and circumstances are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Physical damage including cracked screens, broken casings, bent frames, or damage caused by dropping.
- Liquid or moisture damage, including damage caused by rain, flooding, sweat, or spillage.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.
- Damage resulting from use of non-genuine accessories, including chargers, adapters, or cables not supplied or approved by the Company.
- Products with tampered, removed, or illegible serial numbers or warranty seals.
- Products that have been opened, repaired, or modified by any unauthorised service centre or individual.
- Damage caused by power surges, lightning strikes, or electrical irregularities beyond normal operating conditions.
- Consumable parts such as batteries, unless the defect is due to a manufacturing fault.
- Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, and broken plastic — unless caused by a manufacturing defect.
- Loss or theft of the product.
- Products used for commercial or industrial purposes, where the product is designed for personal/household use.
5. Service Charges, Parts & Shipping
5.1 Service Charges — FREE
KMTS Engineering provides free warranty service during the warranty period. This means:
- No labour charges will be levied for diagnosis, repair, or replacement carried out at our Authorised Service Centre.
- No service fees, inspection fees, or handling charges will be applied for valid warranty claims.
5.2 Replacement Parts — Chargeable
While service labour is provided free of charge, the cost of replacement parts required during servicing shall be borne by the Customer. This includes:
- Any electronic components, modules, or parts that need to be replaced due to damage, wear, or failure.
- The Company will provide a quotation for parts costs before proceeding with repair. The Customer must approve the cost before work commences.
- Parts charges will be communicated transparently and in advance — no hidden charges.
- In cases where the defect is purely a manufacturing fault, the Company may, at its discretion, waive parts charges.
5.3 Shipping & Courier Charges — Chargeable
The Customer is responsible for all shipping and courier charges involved in sending the product to and receiving it from the Authorised Service Centre:
- Both-way shipping charges (to the service centre and back to the Customer) must be borne by the Customer.
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring the product is adequately packed to prevent damage during transit.
- KMTS Engineering is not liable for any damage or loss occurring during transit to or from the service centre.
- The Company recommends using a reputable courier service with tracking and insurance for high-value shipments.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable in all circumstances.

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To raise a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Register your warranty (if not already done) at www.kmtse.com/warranty-registration/
- Step 2: Log in to your warranty account at www.kmtse.com/warranty-account/ and raise a claim.
- Step 3: Our team will contact you within 2–3 business days to guide you through the next steps.
- Step 4: Ship the product to the Authorised Service Centre using a tracked courier service.
- Step 5: Upon receipt, we will inspect the product and communicate the diagnosis and any applicable parts costs.
- Step 6: After your approval (if parts are required), we will carry out the repair and return the product.
Expected turnaround time after receipt of the product: 7–14 business days, subject to parts availability.
7. Customer Obligations
To be eligible for warranty service, the Customer must:
- Provide the original purchase invoice as proof of purchase.
- Provide the Registration ID obtained upon warranty registration.
- Ensure the product serial number is intact and legible.
- Co-operate with the Company’s authorised personnel during the inspection and repair process.
- Not attempt to self-repair or take the product to an unauthorised service centre, as doing so will void the warranty immediately.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product, or a refund of the purchase price, at the Company’s sole discretion.
- The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
- The Company shall not be responsible for loss of data stored on the device. Customers are advised to back up all data before submitting a product for service.
- This warranty gives the Customer specific legal rights. The Customer may also have other rights which vary depending on applicable local laws.

10. Privacy & Data
KMTS Engineering collects personal information (name, email, mobile, pincode, product details) solely for the purpose of processing warranty registrations and providing warranty service. This data is:
- Stored securely on our servers.
- Not sold or shared with third parties.
- Used to communicate warranty status, service updates, and important product notifications.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is encouraged to first contact our support team at support@kmtse.com. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and promptly.
12. Amendments to These Terms
KMTS Engineering Pvt Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website at www.kmtse.com. Continued use of our warranty services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
